Completion of 140 more Jackal 4x4 Vehicles
Honda Cable Assemblies is proud to announce the completion of a further build of 140 4x4 Jackal vehicles for the Supacat-Babcock alliance. This build will bring the total number of wiring and sub-assembly vehicle kits supplied by Honda to over 400. These vehicles builds consisted of three configurations; Jackal 1, Jackal 2 and this latest variant, Jackal 2a.
This build following on from final delivery of a contract placed with Honda to supply the Supacat-Babcock alliance in April 2009 for approximately 120 Jackal 2 and more than 70 new 6x6 ‘Coyote' Tactical Support Vehicle wiring kits. For which our effort was rewarded with a commendation from Brigadier IS Simpson, Head Combat Wheels Group DE&S Land Equipment.

Honda was selected by Universal Engineering to provide wiring systems for their 6x6 and 8x8 Ranger vehicles. Honda provided 40 different wiring looms for each vehicle along with associated control boxes and instrumentation for the dashboard and APU.
